Just Go With It

Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston are actually pretty terrific together. They appear to get along very well and it shows on the screen. My quibble would be that this is pitched as an all-family film and it's a bit rough for little kids.

The Company Men

Very well-done, depressing tale of men and women (mostly men) who lost their jobs in '08. Hollywood thinks this kind of story is edifying and important. (My reaction is "tell us something we don't already know.")

The Roommate

Seen it before—and seen it done better.

The Fighter (2nd Viewing)

Watched it again and marveled at how incredibly well done every scene is. David O. Russell probably won't get an Academy Award for best direction, but I think he should. The performances and the staging are masterful.
