My favorite movie so far this year; also one of my favorite books. Unfortunately, I guess, the people who would benefit most from seeing it, probably won't. Some nasty language will keep some folks away—like my wife, Sue. I am currently pondering whether I should take my 11 year-old, Jack, to see it.

New Moon
I liked the first one a bit better. I missed Edward through more than half of the film; and I missed Catherine Hardwicke's direction—though I'm delighted she's working busily on Maximum Ride.
The Blind Side
A terrific story, based on an equally terrific book by Michael Lewis. This is definitely an audience-pleaser. I was slightly put off by the TV-movie style of film making.
